my apartment refuses to spray these pests. i have called pest control and they say treatment will be around 800 dollars in total to get rid of them, but there is a chance they will just go to another apartment and come right back. i really don’t want to deal with that or waste my money. has anyone ever moved and not taken any with them? what did you do ?? procedure please
Okay, it is 2 in the morning and i just found a bug in my bed. i really really hate bugs, you dont understand. Alright, well, i saw a little spot on the bed and i looked at it and it kind of hopped a little bit, so i ran and got a tissue and killed it. I’ve heard about bedbug outbreaks across america, and i heard it is mostly in hotels, and apartments and smaller places. I live in a regular house with a clean room. But this is really bugging me, and i want to go to sleep. Do you think it was a bedbug or a flea? Because my little chihuahua was crawling around the bed earlier and itching alot, and it did hop a little bit. I looked up both bedbugs and fleas, and it said that they are both reddish-brown in color, which it was. I checked around my bed, and saw nothing else. Pleaase help!!!
My mother has lived in this duplex for 3 years and half now, they where fine until a family moved in the upper level 6 months ago then my mother’s apartment started to have bed bugs all of a sudden. They have treated it washed the linen and the clothes put everything in plastic bags. Sealed and vacuumed the mattresses we even threw some of them away.
The bedbugs are under control but it is just to much for my mom to keep up with.
We called the landlord lady so she can get a professional company to do some treatment the lady said it is our fault and we need to pay for the expenses and call the company or else she will take us to court.
Does she have any right to do this? We can pay upto $500 but more than that my mother can not afford it.
Any Landlords out there? Tennants who had similar problems?
Sunday night/monday morning, i was at a friend’s house in his basement. The weather was fine i think, no rain. I got a couple of bug bites which i thought were mosquito bites. He said he thought they got rid of the mosquitos in his house. I go home and like one or two days later, I get LOTS of bug bites! I have a total of 20ish bites! One-elbow, one- shoulder, one- inner arm, 8 on my right ankle (bites are real close to each other), 3 on right calf, 2 on inner right thigh, one of outer right thigh, 8 on left ankle area, one on left calf, one on left knee, one on my forehead. Some of them are rly rly small, like a lil pin prick or something. Most of the ones on my ankle are bigger b/c ive scratched them a lot. I also popped a couple, and a clear liquid came out. A couple of them have like a rly tiny black dot on it. Are these bedbug bites or mosquito bites? BTW, i know this is gross, but I wash my sheets like once a month
