Bites? Allergy? What Is It?

By Janet Wilson MCIJ | 3 Comments

Ok, a couple of days ago i started getting some.. rash-like thing that looks something like this http://z.about.com/d/hotels/1/0/p/G/2/sf…
I got them mostly on my legs. They itch like crazy. I even got them in school so i don’t think they’re bug bites. i have some in my arms, two in my hands, and one in my face but like a lot on my legs. when one stopped itching then another one came out.. and they’re really itchy. Whhat could have caused this?
I used to be allergic to seafood, and then it all went away, but i haven’t eaten sea food except for yesterday, and they started to come out like 2 days ago.. help?
they look liek this too.. kind of http://image09.webshots.com/9/5/11/51/11…

Insect Bites Or Food Allergy?

By Janet Wilson MCIJ | 1 Comment

I have these little red, hive/pimple looking things all over my chest and mostly upper back. I do get them in my hair and on my face, neck, and chin at times, and even sometimes on my arms. I had a biopsy done and my dermatologist said that they said it was identical to an insect bite. Half of the time they look almost like mosquito bites when appearing. Big white bumps that eventually turn red. We are having an exterminator looking for bed bugs now, but there seems to be no hard evidence. are there any other types of insects that could be causing this (ex: scabies)? Or i wonder if is actually a food allergy? If I had a food allergy, would it be possible that I did not break out everywhere in hives/bumps? I have had these symptoms for about 9 months. In the beginning it wasn’t so severe. It grew worse with time. I also have a dog and will be getting her checked if the exterminator finds nothing.
